My Random Thoughts

 So If I'm right, today, Saturday the 27 th  Where I am, is Sunday the 28 th  in Japan, where the final episode of Mashin Sentai Kiramager is Ending, March will the new series, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, the 45 th -anniversary series. So I felt like writing a post about my love of Sentai, Power Rangers, and Other Tokusatsu shows For anyone unaware, Tokusatsu is the Japanese word for the genre of Special effects, and they're also I think a sub genre of the Kaiju films. Super Sentai got its start in 1975 with Himitsu Sentai Gorenja. I have not seen this yet myself, I haven't seen a lot of the older sentai, but I'm working on that. When I was in the 6 th  grade, there came a show like no other....except maybe Voltron back in the '80s but shut up. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which at the time it started airing, I had no idea about it using stock footage from a Japanese show, specifically Kyoru Sentai Zyuranger, the sixteenth super sentai.  Ok, I have never been the best at this.  I've tried blogging before, but never really stuck with it, so I'm making it a personal goal to keep this going.  A little about myself I guess.  I'm a huge geek.  A geek mind you is different from a nerd in my opinion.  And I define the difference like this.  I like Star Trek, I think it's a great show with interesting ideas and premises.  I have a friend who can actually tell you how the technology works.  I am a geek, he is a nerd.  Not that there's anything wrong with either.  If it matters to anyone reading this, I'm almost 40, and Male. In this Blog, I will mostly be talking about things like What ever I'm reading/watching, including anime, manga, light novels, or what ever else.  I might post about music as well, and some other hobbies of mine.
