Movies

So I haven't done a blog post in a while, other than put up that little bit of story I had written.  Part of that was I got my first dose of the Covid Vaccine and then after helping my dad with something else, I needed a power nap of about 15 hours if my math is right.  (And even if it's not, that's what I'm going with.)  So I figured I would just pick an easy topic, Movies.  This weekend, I plan on going to see Godzilla Vs Kong, with my Dad.  And I love seeing a movie with my dad.  It almost doesn't matter what kind of movie, though there are movies I know he doesn't have an interest in.  Movies are how I connect with people.  Some of my favorite memories with various people, especially my dad are movies we've seen together.  I still laugh about this, but back when I was in high school my dad took me to see South Park: Bigger, Longer, And Uncut.  And this was before we had cable, So I had never actually seen south park, though I would rectify that before the movie, staying at my aunt's house, while she was going through a divorce, but that's another story for another day.

Anyways, as I said, I love going to the movies with my dad.  We love almost the same kinds of movies, like really stupid movies such as South Park, the Harold and Kumar trilogy, Austin Powers, and Rush Hour.  To more serious movies like News of the World, and the Magnificent 7 (the remake)  Westerns are perhaps my dad's favorite genre, and I can understand, though some of the westerns I've seen are really....meh.  Some of the older ones just don't catch my interest.

Unfortunately, other than something like South Park, my dad's not the biggest into animation, which is a shame because I have a few anime I would introduce him to, but I don't think I could get him to.  So for those things, I have either my brother or my friend Chaz.  The problem is Chaz's schedule and mine don't always line up, and I love my brother, but sometimes he's a pain in the ass.  I'm waiting for one other friend who will be able to join me, but that's not going to be for quite some time.  Anyways I found an anime challenge similar to that post I did about the 30-day blog challenge, but this one is for a hundred days, so I might break that one up to like 10 per post.  For one it gives me more time to think about some of the questions, and for another, 100 in 1 post is just too dang long.
