 Ok, so here we are, early June 2022. I just recently finished with Phoenix Fan Fusion 2022, and it has got me pumped up like I haven't felt in a LONG time. I ran in to people who I haven't seen in ages, that even though I don't know very well, I'm glad to see they're doing well, like Author Brandon Varnell, Most everyone in the Blue Ribbon Army, and more. I still did not meet out glorious leader Matt Hinds, but I just chalk that up to It's impossible to do everything you want to at a convention, and there's always next year. And in fact, speaking of next year, I have several goals in mind that I want to have made some serious progress on by the time Fan Fusion rolls around in 2023.

Now most of the times I only ever post my goals around New Years on my facebook page, but again, I'm so damn energized by having gone to Fan Fusion, that my mind is abuzz with ideas I would like to accomplish. Some are Specific to Fan Fusion, others are just things I want to make happen period. So Let's start with of course the goals that are Fan Fusion Specific and work from there.

One.  My goal is to have at least 1, possibly 2 cosplays for next year. The first one I think will be pretty easy, with the help of my brother, and that is Charles Emerson Winchester III from M*A*S*H. Most of this is getting the right army clothes and pins, and I all ready have the same hair style that Winchester did, thanks genetics.

The other Cosplay is going to a bit more difficult, as it involves a lot of things I've never actually done before, Kamen Rider Ichigo, the very first Kamen Rider. That's a costume I would have to build from pretty much the ground up. But I've never seen anyone rocking that cosplay at my local con, so I really want to make it happen. I've got a few groups that might be able to help me with that, so I'll probably hit them up.

Next...I would like to at least be close to getting a light novel published. I don't expect I would have it done by next year, but I would like to say that I'm in the realm of getting it done, on the road to getting it done as it were. Once again, the biggest problem with that is that I'm my own worst critic, and I'm not sure how to deal with that issue.

Finally, at least for Convention goals....I want to host a panel. And I have an idea of what I want it to be on. Some time this summer, in time for Saboten in September, I'm going to work on a model kit, actually trying to clean it up and paint it, really make it look good because they have a plastic model kit contest. So my panel for Fan Fusion would be on that. My journey into really giving it my all. I'll post updates on this blog as I go, kind of to talk about my progress doing all this.

Now for some other goals, not for convention, but for me in general. One is I want to completely re do my room. I need to get it seriously cleaned, but I also want to repaint the room, change out my wall scrolls, and switch up some of the furniture. One thing I would love is to find a display case so I could display my model kits and actually start building them, instead of building a backlog and letting them collect dust.

Then there's the usual “get in shape” goal. I've actually been on a diet for a while that I have seen results with, but I need to start throwing exercise into the mix, Which as we approach summer makes me less than thrilled with the prospect. I hate Arizona summers so much.

And finally, at least that I can think of for now is I want to get a gaming computer. Most of the games I play right now are either exclusive to the Switch, or can be got on every platform, including Steam, and I'd rather just have one computer for most of my games, instead of Multiple Consoles. Plus I want a computer with several large Hard drives in it for a lot of my videos.
