Summer Anime and more

So It's been just a bit of time, and I haven't made much progress on my other projects, mostly just in the planning phases right now, but I want a bit more to do, or something else to occupy my mind a bit, so I figure I'm going to try and write some reviews.  It can be books, games, movies or anime, just what ever I feel like.  And we're getting right into the time where I will have the perfect opportunity to start, as we're approaching the 2022 summer anime season, which starts some time in July.  So first, let's look at what shows have so far got my interest.  I'm getting my list from https://myanimelist.net/anime/season

First a couple of returning shows, we have season 2 of "The Devil is a Part Timer" and season 4 of "Overlord".  Both really great shows, I'm surprised to see a second season for Devil, mostly because the first season aired all the way back in 2013.  Though they have plenty of material, the light novel just recently ended with volume 27.  I wish more anime that had more material would get picked up for another season.

Next up we have "When will Ayumu make his move?" a cute slice of life story about a boy who quits his current club to join the school shogi club. There's more to it than that but I dont want to spoil it to much, from the creator of Teasing Master Takagi-San, one of my current favorite anime.  I hope the movie gets shown out here in theaters.

Coming up after that is "The Maid I Recently Hired is Mysterious".  This one is mostly unknown to me, so I dont know what to expect.

Then we have "The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting". Which just sounds like a good comedy. Honestly if it's as good as "The Way of the House Husband" then this will be a great one.

After that we have the Tokyo Mew Mew remake, reboot?  What ever, the new Tokyo Mew Mew.  I was a big fan of this series, I had the whole manga series, including the two volume follow up, Tokyo Mew Mew ala mode, so I'm hoping this will be really good.  Can't be any worse than the 4kids dub that got released years ago anyway.

Finally, at least for now we have the big one I've been really interested in, Fuuto Tantei.  An anime follow up to Kamen Rider Double, the first time they've ever done such a thing really.  And I'm interested to see if this will be as good as the show it's spawned from.  So there you have it, that's most of what I'll be watching this season, and I hope you'll come along for the ride with me.  Like I said though, I'll also be reviewing books and other things.
